Medication Administration

I am always happy to help people give veterinarian-prescribed medications to their pets. My vet tech experience has helped me to learn safe and efficient ways to medicate pets. Sometimes it can be very stressful for owners to give injectable, oral or topical medications to their pet, not to mention giving their pet subcutaneous fluids for rehydration. Often times before the medication process begins, pets sense that their owners are under stress which can cause the pet to react in a negative manner. Many times people feel that medicating their pet will ruin the special relationship they both enjoy.
