FAQ – About our dog walking service:
What time of day will you be walking my dog?
We will arrange it to suit your schedule. Usually mid to late mornings or mid to late afternoons are the best times of day for your dog. Often it can be too hot to walk them as the pavement can heat up quickly. A good rule of thumb is to feel the sidewalk with the back of your hand. Then if it’s too hot for your hand it can be too hot for your dog’s pads.
How does my dog benefit from dog walks?
Dogs need exercise – no matter what size they are. Walking ensures your dog keeps healthy and happy. Walks help to burn off energy giving your dog more confidence and lessening stress levels. Ask your veterinarian about the medical benefits that dog walking provides.
How can I be sure my dog will be safe in your hands?
We will keep your dog on a leash at all times. Also, we will want to know about your dog’s habits, his medical conditions, and how he interacts with other pets and people. Being aware of the surrounding areas at all times helps us to ensure your pup is safe and happy. We carry fresh water to keep your pet well hydrated during the walks, too.
Will you be able to take our dogs for walks while we are away on vacation?
We will be happy to provide daily walks or we can customize the walk schedule to fit you and your pets needs.
Are you bonded and insured?
Yes. We have pet insurance through PSA (Pet Sitters Associates).
